Our goal was to create a platform that was user-friendly, trustworthy, and reflective of our genuine commitment to renters. It was crucial for the site to have clear navigation paths, enabling users to find relevant information with ease and apply for assistance without undue complications. Equally important was crafting a design that would invoke trust, compassion, and understanding—vital sentiments given the circumstances of our target users.
Design & Execution
Guided by our strategy, I directed our design efforts. Prioritizing accessibility and empathy, the layout was designed to be intuitive, with straightforward instructions and prompts. Color schemes, typography, and visuals were carefully curated to offer a sense of comfort, hope, and assurance. Interwoven with this was a focus on ensuring that the process for applying for rent assistance was as streamlined and straightforward as possible.
Results & Impact
The Bilt Foundation website, post-launch, garnered widespread appreciation for its ease of use and clarity of purpose.
