Vision & Planning
Understanding the vision of Heywear was paramount: to reimagine how glasses are crafted and bought today. With this in mind, my challenge was to create a unique, user-focused eyewear collection that could disrupt the market. The ambitious goal was to balance aesthetic appeal, functionality, and comfort while remaining true to Heywear's mission of delivering prescription eyewear swiftly and efficiently.
Design & Development
The eyewear collection design involved extensive user research, style trend analysis, and iterative prototyping. I prioritized the user's comfort and needs, translating them into designs that were not only visually appealing but also comfortable for extended wear. In response, I created a unique design language that fused timeless styles with a modern twist, embracing diverse tastes and facial structures.
Execution & Results
The launch collection was an instant hit. It exceeded initial sales forecasts by 25%, with customer feedback overwhelmingly positive about the blend of style, comfort, and quick delivery. The success of this collection cemented Heywear's presence in the eyewear market and was a testament to the importance of user-focused design. This initiative showcased our commitment to the customer, shaping the perception of Heywear as a brand that truly understands its users.
This project emphasizes my proficiency in material product design and development, strategy, and design leadership. It is a testament to how a user-centric approach, paired with business acumen, can disrupt traditional industries and deliver tangible success.
